Monthly Mailer–Secret Weapon

Often, donors only receive communications requesting their support. Never an acknowledgement of support unless immediately after a donation. Intelligently, one of my mentors, John Baker, realized this and taught me to send a Monthly Mailer acknowledging donor support at a given level and above by highlighting various subjects within the organizations–students, program officers, programs, research, departments, teachers, etc.–made possible only by their support. It has been one of my secret weapons to my success over the years.

The monthly mailer should include the following: At least one photograph, at least one quote, an acknowledgement thanking donors, and be contained in one page.
